Having already paid for a large number of driving lessons and failing twice i was a bit anxious that changing driving instructor would make no difference at all, combined with the fact i had not drove for a year i wasn't exactly the most confident of drivers. However having driving lessons with Phil was exactly what i needed, he was always calm; he would explain every situation and the mistakes i had made - instead of making me feel embarrassed he gave me the confidence to learn from my mistakes and make sure i didnt do them again. In October 2008 after a total of 6 lessons and a weeks intensive course I passed my driving test , all thanks to Phil. I can't praise Phil Taylor highly enough and i would definitely recommend him to any driver, experienced or not.

I passed my driving test first time and with only 4 minors. I think this was all down to my Instructor. The lessons were fun yet always very constructive. I came a way from every lesson with a sense of achievement. I was very nervous about my test but Phil put me at ease and once the car got moving I felt really relaxed.

To anyone who is looking to do driving lessons over a few weeks or instensive course over a couple of days then this is ideal. I live in a small area where we only have about 3 roundabouts, so when i came to shrewsbury to do a course i really didn't have a slightest clue as to what lane for what exit i had to be in, but Phil really brought me on with that, with patience and kindness. Phil has a really good way of explaining things and has reference points to help with manoevers. He gives you boosts of confidence by complimenting on the things you have done correctly. I failed two tests where i live, but when i started having lessons with Phil i passed with only one minor!!!! Definatly worth the travel!
